I want to talk a little about about worthiness, and speaking your truth. Unusual topics for a sales coach, I know. But here’s the thing, if you are feeling unworthy you’re gonna have a hard fucking time getting the sale. Much less that $10k month you’re drooling over.
Let’s dive into worthiness. Just for a second. There is this fantastic poem, by Marianne Williamson which I know you’ve heard before. It’s worth repeating.
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our Light, not our Darkness, that most frightens us.
Now you may not believe in God or the religious, or in the “woo” and that’s OK. You can call it whatever you want. Jesus, or the Universe, Source, Spirit, the Boogie Man. Let’s say it’s all the same. I don’t believe that we are a bunch of randoms colliding around like billiard balls on a pool table. Statistically speaking, it’s so improbable it’s an impossibility. So if this isn’t random, where did your dream come from? Where did your drive come from? Believe me, it is NO mistake.
Are you able to deny your calling? I suppose that is a whole other question, but I am here to tell you right now, you can deny, and tell yourself that it doesn’t matter only but for so long before that itch needs scratched. Before the price of your silence is higher than you are willing to pay.
How did you know that what was put in your heart is not meant to set up a ripple effect and touch millions? Or just one. One person. Wouldn’t that be enough? To have touched just one life? To have changed the trajectory for just one other human?
What happens when you prejudge your sale? You take away that person’s opportunity. Their free will. What if THEY are the one you are meant to reach and you don’t even give them that opportunity because you are scared. Because you don’t “feel” like it’s right? You are robbing them of THEIR dream and worst of all, they don’t even know it.
Let your light shine. I challenge you to stop playing small. Get out there, don’t prejudge your potential sales, and let’s change the world.
